Sleep disturbances greatly impact quality of life. We have previously shown that 80% percent children with atopic dermatitis (AD) in our cohort suffered from sleep and 60% sleep-related impairment. However, the broader influence issues AD has not been explored. Validated patient-oriented questionnaires were completed at each visit by >8 years old parents (5-7 old) a cross-sectional observational study 248 AD. severity was also assessed using Eczema Area Severity Index (EASI), SCORing (SCORAD), Investigator's Global Assessment (IGA), Patient oriented Measurement (POEM). Sleep-related impairment (SRI) disturbance (SD) measured Reported Outcome Information System (PROMIS). No higher probability severe SD allergic rhinitis or asthma noted. In 5-7 years, parents-reported correlated age lower family income. SRI reflected disease activity (EASI, SCORAD, POEM) SDin correlatedmoderately patient report (POEM (rho=0.58, p<0.001); SCORAD (rho=0.46 p<0.001)) weakly physician-reported (IGA/EASI/BSA (rho=0.35 p<0.001)). both groups prevalence, younger group SRI, itch, pain, poorer mobility global health (rho=-0.35).
